Triumph Spitfire Engine Strip Down
After many years of owning a Triumph Spitfire Mk3 which is currently fitted with a MkIV engine I thought it was about time I stripped down the spare Spitfire Mk3 FD engine I've had in my shed for the last few years; in preparation for rebuild and reuniting the FD engine with the Spitfire Mk3 Project

Road Trip to a Railway

For a while now Conor and I have talked about taking our Spitfires to a heritage railway for a day out, and at long last we did! I thought I'd bring my cameras along to filmed the day, although sadly much of the exhibitions we're closed mostly due to being out of season, so I cobbled together what I could with the time we had for you all to enjoy! We had a great time at the Gloucestershire and ...

The thing about using a classic car all year round means it comes with faults you just have to deal with there and then. Sometimes you get lucky and its an easy fix, other times you have to improvise until you can get the part. As I know I've got a fault on the Rover, I thought this time it would be nice to bring you all along to see if I could fix it on the same day I found the fault

For most British Leyland cars the rule of thumb is 10 thou or 0.25mm feeler gauge gap for the tappets, if the car has a hot cam thus may vary, but as a rule of thumb 10 thou or 0.25mm is good 👍
